1816 Server

One download: the launcher with the modpack already set up. It keeps itself up to date.

Uses Shattered Prism, an open-source launcher. Your own Minecraft account works too, or an offline username.

Setup

  1. Unzip the download and open Shattered Prism. On Mac: move the app to Applications, then right-click it › Open. On Windows, if it warns about an unknown app: More info › Run anyway.
  2. Mac only: Add Instance › Import › Browse and pick 1816 Adventures.zip from the download.
  3. Accounts (top right) › Add Offline, and type your username.
  4. Double-click 1816 Adventures. The first start downloads the mods, so give it a few minutes.
  5. Multiplayer › 1816 Server › Join.
  6. First time only, type /register yourpassword yourpassword in chat.

Trouble?

Mac says the app is "damaged"

Open Terminal and run xattr -cr "/Applications/Shattered Prism.app", then open it again.

The game asks for Java

Let the launcher download it when it asks; the defaults are right.

Already have Prism or Shattered Prism?

Add Instance › Import, and paste https://toruuuprojects.com/instance.
